Trustenaya chalet is located on the international Kom-Emine trail (E-3) at 1130 m above sea level, north of Izdremets peak. The chalet has 30 places distributed in 5 triple rooms and 2 large bedrooms. The sanitary facilities and bathrooms are on the first floor. There is a tourist kitchen at the disposal of visitors.
Near the chalet there are three lakes, beech forests and spacious meadows, suitable for walking. From the Iskar Gorge to the hut, two roads lead from Gara Lakatnik and Gara Bov village. The second is passable for cars, although it is not in good condition. A red-marked trail begins from the Lakatnik railway station - part of the Kom-Emine route, which takes about 3 hours.
