Iskar Gorge is accessible by various modes of transport. Its proximity to Sofia, Vratsa and Mezdra allows it to be easily reached from different points of the country.

• The gorge is located along the Sofia-Varna railway line and you can get there by train from the south (Sofia) or from the north (Mezdra, Vratsa). Passenger trains stop at every station, and fast trains stop at Zverino and Lakatnik. Traveling by train along the Iskar Gorge is a real experience. It will reveal the true beauty of the Gorge to you. You can choose a fast or passenger train from Sofia, Mezdra or Vratsa.
• Republican Road II-16 passes through the gorge, connecting Sofia with the village of Rebarkovo. The distance is about 100 km and takes about an hour and a half. The road is in good condition, but keep in mind that there are many curves, especially in the section from the town of Novi Iskar to the town of Svoge. If you are leaving from Mezdra and Vratsa, use the International Road E79, from which you turn off at the village of Rebarkovo. You can approach by car from several places:
1. from Mezdra (via Rebarkovo and Lyutibrod)
2. from Vratsa (via Chelopek and Lyutibrod)
3. from Monatana(Vratsa) (via Milanovo and Lakatnik Station)
4. from Sofiq (via Svoge and Lakatnik Station)
