"Eco Destination Iskar Gorge" is a project created with the idea of ​​promoting an extremely interesting corner of Bulgaria. Even 100 years ago, delighted by the newly discovered beauties of the Gorge, Sofia residents used the Iskar River valley for recreation and tourism. However, many of the secrets of the region remain little known. In recent years, tourism has been looking for new forms of recreation and outdoor activities, and the Iskar Gorge has great potential in this direction. Through "Eco Destination Iskar Gorge" we are trying to unite people and organizations from Lakatnik to Mezdra in a community whose cause is the sustainable development of the region.
